Truck drivers who are supporters of Trump have announced that they will not be driving to New York City following the recent $355 million fine imposed on the former president in his fraud case.
Chicago Ray, a conservative social media figure and truck driver, uploaded a video in which he stated that some of his fellow workers plan to cease deliveries to New York City as a form of protest against the recent ruling from the Manhattan Supreme Court.
In a recent video from inside his truck, Ray mentioned that he has been on the radio conversing with drivers for nearly an hour. He has already spoken to approximately ten drivers, who have collectively decided to decline any loads heading towards New York City beginning next Monday.
He mentioned that he has already communicated with a few colleagues who have informed their employer that they refuse to go to New York City.
Ray warned, I can’t predict the extent of this nationwide impact or the number of truckers who will refuse to transport goods to New York City. But one thing is for sure, if you mess around, you’ll face the consequences.
The truck driver mentioned that their employers wouldn’t mind if they refused to transport the cargo, as they could easily find another job elsewhere.
He expressed frustration about the difficulty of entering New York City with his truck, emphasizing the challenge and expressing his discontent.
Since Friday night, Ray’s post about the former president in X has garnered over 4.6 million views and 50,000 likes, stating that 95% of truckers back the ex-president.
Several individuals expressed their backing for the boycott through social media platforms.

Another person expressed their support for the truckers by saying, We are in solidarity with them.
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron ruled that Trump must pay a $355 million penalty for artificially inflating his net worth by billions over ten years in order to secure advantageous loans from banks.
The judge also decreed that he is prohibited from holding any position as an officer or director in a New York-based company for a duration of three years.
At a rally on Saturday, Trump likened the case to election interference by his political rivals, much like Chicago Ray did. He also forewarned of additional repercussions for NYC, claiming that other businesses would depart the city following his decision.
