A city-centre store in an Irish city has caught customers’ eyes with a quirky offer – of a free coffee for anyone who spends £82,000 (€100,000) with them.
A board outside The Gold Reserve on Castle St in Cork shows the tongue-in-cheek deal that would see a hot beverage given out to anyone who hits the minimum spend mark.
CorkBeo couldn’t resist checking in to see if such a deal could be real, but it was confirmed by Morgan Wong who insisted they’re not messing.
He laughed: “I mean it’s a joke, but it’s not really a joke. I will probably buy you more than a coffee if you spend that much with us.
“Sadly nobody’s availed of the offer yet, some are working towards it you know.”
