While you could try to rely on instincts and gut feelings, if you want to understand your audience, you’ll need to dig into the data of what they do, what they like, and who they are. That way, you know you’re basing your decisions on facts rather than intuition.
When marketing your business, data and analytics allow you to measure the performance of your efforts and determine which aspects of your strategy need to be updated.
This also applies to your social media marketing efforts on platforms like Instagram. By analyzing the data of your Instagram account, you’ll be able to find out more about who your audience is, when they engage with your content, and which of your content they enjoy the most.
While there are various third-party tools for analyzing your Instagram data, Instagram includes a free tool called Instagram Insights that allows anyone with an Instagram Creator or Business account to view their Instagram analytics for the last 90 days.
In this article, we will show you how to use Instagram Insights so that you can take your social media marketing efforts to the next level.
